Meet the 2013 SatisFacts Survey Sweepstakes Winners

Posted By Heather Rusick on 1/20/14 8:29 AM

Each year, Shea Apartment Communities surveys its residents in order to determine the level of satisfaction with their apartment community. As our way of saying thank you for taking the survey, we offer a sweepstakes to customers who respond to the survey and they have the chance to win an iPad Mini or $400 rent credit.

Out of over 1,700 Shea residents surveyed, there are four lucky winners who were randomly selected by our survey company (SatisFacts) to choose either of the two prizes.  We wanted to take a moment to thank all of the residents who responded to our survey and spend a few minutes introducing you to these awesome (and lucky) residents:

Up first, Barbara, a 27 year resident!

How long have you lived at Seaside Apartments? What made you choose Seaside as your home?

Over 25 years. Since 1987!

There are so many reasons why I chose Seaside Apartments, and why I have stayed here for 27 years. When I moved in to Seaside in 1987, the community was brand new and built in just the perfect spot for my needs; right in the middle of the surrounding areas that all my friends lived in. Now that the area is developed, I get to enjoy the conveniences that Laguna Heights Marketplace has to offer. And although I don’t surf, I am close to the beach which is a plus! To sum it up…I can pretty much get anywhere in a jiff and I just love Laguna Niguel!

What is your favorite thing about living at the community?

The community stays on top of things, the grounds are immaculate (maintenance does a great job) and they are always keeping the community fresh with upgrades.

Tell us something interesting about yourself?

Well, not interesting, but something fabulous about myself is I have a great personality and I love people. I have a good wit too! My friends and family tell me all of the above… So I guess it’s true.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, and money was not a factor, where would it be and why?

I would love to travel to Europe and see all the beautiful architecture that London and Paris have to offer. Gratefully, my friends and family always brings me back pictures when they visit, maybe one day they’ll take me ;)

Next up… Andrew, a Woodbridge Apartments resident.

How long have you lived at Woodbridge Apartments? What made you choose Woodbridge as your home?

About six years.

I chose Woodbridge due to its proximity to UCI and central location in Irvine.

What is your favorite thing about living at the community?

The staff and maintenance personnel are great.

Tell us something interesting about yourself?

I recently developed a live web-based scoring system for the Green Beret Shooters Cup, the only system of its type in competition shooting.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, and money was not a factor, where would it be and why?

I would love to do a tour of Greece. My degree was in Classics and it would be great to visit.

Introducing Jorden and Kalvin, Sycamore Bay residents.

How long have you lived at Sycamore Bay Apartments? What made you choose Sycamore Bay as your home?

Two years.

Short and simple, the washer/dryer and garage! We loved the additional storage the garage provides, and the convenience of the washer and dryer in our unit made it a really easy decision. In addition, we also loved the layout of the floor plan we decide to go with and the fact that the community was gated was an extra bonus. There were many reasons we chose the property, but those were very big factors! Being pet friendly didn't hurt either.

What is your favorite thing about living at the community?

Our favorite thing about living at the community is the friendliness of everyone while we are out and about, including the staff. Sycamore Bay's staff is phenomenal!

Tell us something interesting about yourself?

I have traveled to 15 different countries, and plan to travel much more in the future.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, and money was not a factor, where would it be and why?

The list is so long! If money wasn't a factor, I think I would travel the world for a year or two, just to visit everywhere in one big swoop!

Last but definitely not least, James from Zenith Meridian Apartments.

How long have you lived at Zenith Meridian Apartments? What made you choose Zenith Meridian as your home?

I've lived at Zenith Meridian for just over a year.

I watched the community while it was being built and decided to move here, it provided a great location for work/life balance.

What is your favorite thing about living at the community?

What I like most about Zenith Meridian is the excellent customer service provided by the staff. I especially like Priscilla R., who originally toured me and guided me through the entire lease signing process. She's always friendly and has such a positive attitude.

I appreciate my surrounding tenants who are quiet and respectful. I also enjoy that I have easy access to surrounding businesses and the I-25 Freeway.

Tell us something interesting about yourself?

Friends have told me that when sleeping, my eyes appear to be partially open...weird!

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, and money was not a factor, where would it be and why?

Actually I would travel around the entire world. Definitely for the memories and wonderful friendships I would make along the way.
