Tis the season for entertaining! The Holidays are in full swing which means a lot of food, family and booze! Entertaining in your apartment can be a little crammed… but not to worry! Fool your guests with a little holiday décor, tasty food and lots of booze and you will be made the hostess with the mostest, here’s how:

Holiday Décor. It’s all about the theme; pick one and stay with it! To make your apartment look festive without overdoing it create a home that touches all the senses. First the nose: buy holiday scented candles, potpourri and/or oils to get your apartment in the holiday spirit. Next, the eyes: less is definitely not more for the holidays. When decorating your apartment this Christmas make sure to give it your all and saturate it in holiday décor. Pine cones, ribbon, garland and a tree of course! Finally the ears: Nothing is better than a little Mariah Carey holiday music to get your guests in the holiday spirit, so throw on her classic holiday tunes and enjoy!

Finger Foods. If you are working in tight quarters, keep your menu simple and small with finger foods – everyone loves and won’t break the bank. Serve your guests some cute and simple finger foods to keep them merry! Our favorite, mini patty melt bits – one pound of ground pork, one pound of ground beef (cooked), mixed with one pound of Velveeta cheese (melted). Put the delicious (but not pretty looking) mixture on cocktail rye bread and bake for 20 minutes. If you’re feeling crazy add a little grilled onions on top and serve!

Party Favors. When you send your guest on their way, make sure to do it in style with party favors. Our suggestion, bake a few batches of your favorite cookies, wrap them up and done!
