high quality furniture low cost

We’ve taken the guesswork out of furnishing your new apartment. If you’ve recently moved to one of our apartments that features a spacious dining room, such as the Denver Plan at City Lights, you’re probably looking to maximize the wow-factor of your new space.

You can have high-style without high-cost. We recommend sticking with neutrals for the base and using accessories for a splash of color.  Following this technique will let you cycle through looks as the seasons, or trends change.

Start with an instant classic. The Muddus Table from Ikea. The Muddus table features a drop leaf, which means you can scale it to size. When it's just you at home, save space and keep things easy - $59 from IKEA.

Pair your Muddus Dining Table with Two EcoWhite chairs from CB2. They are SUPER easy to clean. They're also easy to relax and enjoy a meal in - $89 each from CB2.

Now that you’ve got the basics, it’s time to accessorize. Make a statement by pairing your Muddus table with square placemats. Available in a variety of colors from CB2, these woven-weave design accents come in festive colors that don’t beg for attention.

Splurge on Flatware. Save On Dinnerware. Flatware is something you’ll want to buy from a supplier who will be around for a while. You’ll also want to avoid buying closeout flatware or really anything on sale. Why? If you ever need to replace a set, you’ll want to simply purchase an extra setting as opposed to learning your pattern has been discontinued. Check CB2 for a great selection.  We recommend saving money on dinnerware by shopping online at Target. They have a fantastic selection that won’t break the bank.

Check out our Pinterest Board highlighting all the items here. Enjoy your dining room, and the savings!
