apartment thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a week and a day away and there is so much to prep for, are you prepared for the storm ahead? Especially living in an apartment, you have to make sure that you are able to cook and serve all your guests’ in the space you have, all while making it comfortable for those attending. This great American tradition is a favorite of most but for those who cook the feast it can be a nightmare. I have a couple of tricks that will help you throw a successful apartment Thanksgiving without the headache:

  1. Potluck – now this is the easiest way to calm your nerves for the big day and can relieve a lot of the stress. Prepare a list of items that you are going to need for Thanksgiving, from sweet potatoes, bread, deserts, salad and more – you focus on the turkey and stuffing and let the others take care of the rest.
  2. Buy Ahead - there are so many options in life now and I prefer to choose the options that make my life easier. Instead of cooking a turkey from scratch, why not buy one from Honeybaked? It's fast, affordable and delicious! All you have to do is pick up the turkey, throw it in the oven and enjoy.
  3. Clear the Space – we all know that living in an apartment limits your space so when you have people over, rent an extra table and chairs to make sure all your guests have a comfortable spot to sit during the meal. Remove all unnecessary furniture, the less cluttered the better.
