What is your exercise routine? Do you have one? My workout routine is Crossfit! Crossfit has become my healthy obsession and has been for about two years now; it is one of the best workout programs I could ever have been introduced too!

How does this relate to apartment living? Well if you live at one of the Shea Apartment Communities, you have the luxury of utilizing the amazing workout facilities, which is the perfect place for Crossfit. It is an workout program so portable not only can you do it at your apartment gym but you can even do it in the comfort of your own home (with the right equipment of course). If you need a little more motivation to get started you can test Crossfit out at one of the local “boxes” aka gyms. I go to Crossfit Ethos, in Laguna Hills, CA, this would be a great gym for our Laguna Beach apartment residents, Aliso Viejo apartment residents and our Irvine apartment residents. Give it a try, it will be hard at first but you will become addicted to this program, especially when you start seeing the results! If you would like to try the workouts at your apartment first, visit the Crossfit headquarters website to get your daily workouts. Remember, Crossfit is so versatile that it is great for all ages and athletic levels. Have fun!!!

What is Crossfit? In Detail...

CrossFit is varied functional movements executed at high intensity. Developed and refined through years of scientific research, CrossFit training is currently being used by many military, police and professional athletic organizations worldwide. Why? Because CrossFit is proven to produce undisputed, tangible results for all levels of fitness. CrossFit is a universally scalable approach to exercise, which makes it the perfect program for any committed individual regardless of prior experience. Each client performs the same workout; the load and intensity is simply scale to fit a clients' ability and fitness goals. Because CrossFit consists of constantly-varied workouts, it also produces the best exercise adherence - you have fun, you like it, so you do it more and are less likely to quit! From children and the elderly, to elite athletes; everyone can benefit from CrossFit.

Have you tried Crossfit? What did you think?
