If you haven’t caught on, I love Laguna Beach and any great event they host I will definitely share with you! I am happy to announce that the Sawdust Art Festival’s annual summer show has officially begun and goes until August 28, 2011 - don’t worry there is plenty of time to enjoy this event, you can even make a couple if trips if you’d like.
I’m calling all art enthusiasts, collectors, novice artists and avid shoppers to go and view the fine arts and crafts of over 200 Laguna Beach artists. There we will be great items, such as hand-blown and fused glass, paintings, jewelry, surf art, ceramics, clothing and textiles, wood and metal sculpture, scrimshaw and photography. You do not want to miss this opportunity to get one-of-a-kind pieces that are sure to spark up a conversation.
This event has it all, from great entertainers, food and the coldest draft selection in town. Don’t forget to checkout their special event days, like Hawaiian Surf Day, Green Day, 80’s and more. If you feel like giving back while you’re there, the Sawdust festival will be hosting a blood drive on August 12, 2011. Also, every Friday and Saturday from 10:00AM – 2:00PM the Sawdust Festival offers art classes for $95, the price includes materials.
It’s time for all you Orange County apartment residents to go have some fun! Tickets start at $3.25 for children and go up to $7.75 for adults, kiddies under 5 are free. Oh and our Laguna Beach apartment residents get in for free too, so there is no reason you should not partake in the fun!
